Business Development Executive
Main role purpose:
Responsible for supporting the business development team with lead generation and identifying new business opportunities. Dorplan gives you a single-source solution for your doorset requirements. Our extensive range of fully accredited doorsets and ironmongery are supplied ready to install.
Our doorset products are supported by comprehensive project management, scheduling and technical support, as well as all appropriate certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities + industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better.
- Developing relationships with new clients
- Conducting market research and building management reports
- Implement strategies to minimise operating costs and increase profits
- Liaising with the business development manager and the marketing team to form and execute new strategies.
- Ensuring that the internal CRM system is updated with any new prospects, contacts, and opportunities and maintaining records accordingly.
- Work closely with marketing and the sales team to target strategic market.
General Skill Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales and business development is advantageous
- Confident on the telephone to speak with both totally new and existing contacts
- Any previous face to face selling would be favourable
- Hunger and desire to succeed
Person Specification
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and prioritisation skills
- PC literate
- Ability to cope at times of pressure.
- The drive to exceed in a high-growth environment.

Previous experience is desirable but not as important as an ability to adapt and learn quickly. We are looking for candidates who can prove themselves in a competitive sales marketplace.
